Tierra del Sol Spa and Country Club - Aruba
Review by Audrey Disbury - March 2007
Tierra del Sol is like a links course with lots of sand and rocks dotted about. There was quite a bit of cactus which gives it an Arizona feel. The fairways are not very wide which means that accuracy is vital. The greens were quite fast but not quite as true as those at the Plantation Course in Tobago which we had played previously. We enjoyed this course very much and particularly liked the satellite distance information inside the buggy plus a personal ball washer! There was also plenty of drinking water on the course.
Review by Chris Webb - February 2008
Tierra del Sol in Aruba was in total contrast to the courses on the other islands where we had played. The cacti-lined, green carpetted fairways wound their way across a desert-like and arid landscape and we were close to the ocean for most of the time. Another must-play course, we shared it with iguanas and parrots! A truly great day's golf!
