Buenavista Golf - Tenerife
Review by Donny McLean, November 2006
Buenavista is in a spectacular location. The clubhouse is perched above the course with wonderful sea views and views across the course. There are 6 par 3s, 6 par 4s and 6 par 5s which is unusual, if not unique. Most of the holes are easy drives, although a couple have quite narrow landing areas. It is a good resort course, spoilt by the greens, which are really difficult! They are in great condition (as is the rest of the course) but very quick and with slopes and hollows that made putting hard for Ian, our pro, and all but impossible for the rest of us, except for Isobel who won easily with 33 points! However, overall the location makes it a course well worth visiting.
